Farmers run this cooperative and
farmers own it. Both for 100%.
It is a new generation cooperative because members are not the same. Advantage is taken from differences between members. Among the members of the NNGC there is one large commercial farmer; ZZ2. That supplies the cooperative countervailing power from founding day.
Nwanedi New Generation Cooperative restores dignity of the farmers. That is how one of the founding members of the NNGC - late Mamazile – said it in 2016:
“We want the world to see us, to see us being proud again.”
